We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone's life. Unforeseen events such as flight delays, car problems, traffic considerations and business meetings are just a few reasons why one might consider cancelling an appointment. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding integrative healing experience to all of our guests and out of consideration for our time as therapists, we have adopted the following policies:
Serendipity Massage & Wellness services are available by appointment only. We require a credit card on file to hold your reservation, but payment is not due until your time of service.
New Clients: Please complete new client forms online prior to arrival. If you need assistance, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete in the studio.
Children & Pets: We love all kiddos of all ages, however, we do ask that you make arrangements for your children and pets during your appointment time. This ensures the safety of your children, as well as a relaxing environment for all clients. Therefore, we respectfully request that young children not be brought to the spa for appointments, and that older children have adult supervision.
Payments: We accept cash, checks, Amex, Discover, Visa, Mastercard and Health Savings Account cards. We do NOT accept any form of insurance, or gift cards (outside of Serendipity Massage & Wellness gift certificates). If any form of payment bounces back, the client is fully responsible for any remaining balance due including any fees/fines for the returned payment.
Cancellation Policy: You will receive e-mail and text message reminders both 48 & 24 hours before your appointment. As a courtesy to our therapists and staff, we uphold a 48-hour cancellation and reschedule policy. Reservations must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48-hours prior to your appointment time to avoid a late charge. Alternatively, you may send a friend or family member in your place to avoid a charge. If you are unable to get a hold of us, please provide written notice via text message. New: if you are unable to come for your session, you may alternatively choose for me to perform a remote energy session: Inner Voice scan with customized sound therapy files emailed to you, or a remote Emotion Code session.
Late Cancellation and No-Show Policies: Each time an appointment is canceled within a 48-hour window or missed without providing proper notice, another client is prevented from receiving treatment. Serendipity Massage & Wellness reserves the right to charge the following fees:
For all services: a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service value if the appointment is not canceled or rescheduled greater than 48 hours prior to the appointment time.
If payment is unable to be processed for late cancellations or no-show fees, we reserve the right to require the fees be paid in full prior to any further appointments be rendered.
Should you late cancel and/or miss three or more appointments, you are required to pre-pay for any service booked in the future.
Late Arrivals: Arriving late deprives you of valuable treatment time. To avoid delaying our next guests and missing valuable treatment, your treatment will end at its scheduled time, and you will be held responsible for the full treatment cost. Serendipity Massage & Wellness reserves the right to refuse service if a client is later than 15 minutes to the scheduled appointment time, and the client will be charged a late cancellation/no-show fee outlined above.
Your bodywork sessions and health history are completely confidential. We will not release this information unless legally subpoenaed.
We provide a body-positive, safe space where you can relax and ignore the outside world. Leave your insecurities at the door; your comfort is our utmost priority.
Appointments always start and end on time. Provided you arrive 5 minutes early, our goal is to maximize your hands-on time. Our hands don't leave your body until the clock hits your appointment end time.
No nickel-and-diming here! We don't charge extra for add-ons like essential oils or new modalities. Plus, we don't accept tips! Save your money and put it towards your next massage.
Sometimes, you just need a moment to yourself. I love a good chat, but I won't initiate a conversation with you during your massage. I follow your lead.
